Creating issues
You can create issues directly from Overvy. The issue gets created on GitHub and appears on your board.
From the board
Section titled “From the board”Click the + button on any lane to open the new issue modal. Fill in:
- Project: select which repository to create the issue in (required)
- Lane: which lane the issue should appear in
- Title: the issue title (required)
- Description: optional details
- Assign to me: check this to assign the issue to yourself
- Ready for AI: check this to flag the issue for AI agents
Click Create Issue to submit. The issue is created on GitHub and immediately appears on your board.
From the backlog
Section titled “From the backlog”The backlog has an inline issue creator at the bottom of each section. Click Add to Ready… or Add to Backlog… to quickly create an issue without opening the full modal.
